Protection policies available:

Life Insurance

Pays a tax free lump sum and can be used to pay off a mortgage (or other outstanding debt), or simply to provide your family with a lump sum upon death.

Critical Illness Cover

A policy closely related to life insurance but dealing specifically with life threatening, life-limiting or other serious illnesses. Under this cover you can expect to receive a tax-free ‘lump sum’ – or one-off payment – if you’re diagnosed with one of the illnesses specifically covered by your policy. Again this policy can be used to protect a mortgage or simply to pay a lump sum.

Income Protection

Pays out a regular income in the event you are unable to work due to an accident or illness. This policy will continue to pay out until either you are well enough to return to work, you are no longer with us (in which case your life insurance will pay out) or until the end date of the policy (typically your normal retirement age).

ASU

ASU stands for Accident Sickness and Unemployment insurance. This is a policy designed to provide cover against losing your income through accident, sickness or redundancy and will normally provide a monthly benefit for a particular term (typically 1-2 years).
